Fall Bingo Night was all about sisterly bonding and fellowship! The ladies of the Ravishing Rho Eta Zeta Chapter held our Fellowship Friday (on a Thursday). From contagious laughter to competitive bingo, we came together with intentionality, love, and unity.

A heartfelt thank you to Sorors from across Maryland who joined us—your presence truly made the evening special. Let’s continue to strengthen our bond and uplift our sisterhood!

We honor the men and women of the United States military for their patriotism, love of country and willingness to make personal sacrifices.

November has also been designated as National Veterans and Military Families Month by President Joseph R. Biden, Jr. (October 31, 2024). It is important to remember that as the Soldier, Airman, Sailor, Marine, Coastie or Guardian serves, so do their families. The Service Member is wholly dependent upon their families, even as the Department of Defense is dependent upon the Service Member.

Please join the Ravishing Rho Eta Zeta Chapter as we honor our Veterans and Family Members. They are aware of the dangers but continue to accept the life of service. We love you and thank you for your service.

Research shows that when voting is fun and celebratory, voter turnout goes up! That’s why Poll Parties are all about making voting engaging and accessible for everyone. These non-partisan events help people get excited about voting while connecting with their community.

On November 5th, we hosted our second Poll Party of the election season at Seven Oaks Elementary School in Odenton, MD. It was a day full of energy, conversation, and connection! We had the chance to chat with local community members about the issues that matter most to them and engage with elected officials to share our concerns.

Let’s keep the momentum going! Stay involved, stay informed, and get out there to vote! Your voice matters.

Ravishing Rho Eta Zeta joined our Maryland Zetas at the ‘So Sweet Sisterly Bonfire’! Sometimes, we have to set aside the business and soak in the warmth of sisterhood. The sisterly love was overflowing. Thank you to our Maryland State Director and Maryland State Zetas for organizing such a beautiful event—we appreciate you!

Domestic violence is the leading cause of injury to women. Every 9 seconds, in the United States, a woman is assaulted or beaten. 1 in 4 women will experience domestic violence in her lifetime. Women ages 20-24 are at the greatest risk for experiencing domestic violence. Sadly, most cases go unreported.

On October 17th, we observed Purple Thursday by wearing purple in support of those who have experienced domestic violence. This simple act of wearing purple helps raise awareness and lets survivors know they are not alone and that we stand with them to create a visible and united front against domestic violence.

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and on Saturday, October 26th, we volunteered and participated in the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk to stand with those fighting breast cancer and to raise funds for this vital cause. Globally, over 2.3 million women are diagnosed with breast cancer each year, and in Maryland alone, approximately 5,500 women face this disease annually.

As a chapter, we are committed to raising awareness and supporting those impacted. Let’s continue to make a difference in our communities, spread hope and drive change.

Together, we can end breast cancer as we know it, for everyone.

Our participation in the Autism Speaks Baltimore Walk allows us to create a world where all people with autism can reach their full potential. Every donation received connects much needed ASD resources and service providers to our local communities!

Please continue to join our team, donate, and share our flyer! Oh, don’t forget to Tell a Friend to Tell a Friend to Tell a Friend...

On January 16th, the Sorors of the Ravishing Rho Eta Zeta Chapter gathered to honor and celebrate 105 years of our beloved sisterhood, Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated.

Our evening began where it all started—Howard University, the birthplace of our illustrious organization. We visited National Headquarters to reflect on our legacy and pay homage to the vision and impact of our founders. Returning to Howard, we revisited the Zeta plots and monuments, honoring the contributions of those who paved the way. The evening concluded with a commemorative dinner, filled with laughter, love, and reflections on our shared sisterhood.

Together, we celebrated the legacy, the impact, and the unbreakable bond of Zeta. Here’s to 105 years of making a difference and uplifting our communities. May we continue to exemplify the principles of Service, Scholarship, Sisterhood, and Finer Womanhood for generations to come!

A big thank you to everyone who generously donated to the Rho Eta Zeta Winter Coat Drive!

With your support, we were able to collect 50 coats that have been provided to the Northern District Police Department for distribution to county schools in need. Your kindness will help keep students warm and make a difference in their lives this winter.

Together, we’re making a real impact! 💙
